Zhou Qi has signed a contract with the Xinjiang Flying Tigers of the CBA.
Qi was selected by the Rockets with the No. 43 pick in the 2016 NBA draft, but he never really panned out, making just 19 total appearances in his two years of experience without ever doing much. We doubt we’ll see him stateside again.
  • NBA Center #9
Zhou Qi has hired a European agent and is reportedly planning to play in Eurpoe next season.
The Rockets drafted Zhou with the 43rd overall pick in the 2016 draft, but he played a total of just 19 games over his first two seasons in the NBA, including just one appearance in 2018-19.
  • NBA Center #9
The Rockets have waived C Zhou Qi.
Qi was drafted back in 2016 but never was able to establish himself as a rotation player for the Rockets. He may need to head overseas for his next contract.
  • NBA Center #9
Zhou Qi (ankle) will not play in Sunday’s game against the Clippers.
Qi probably won’t be worth owning at any point this season.
  • NBA Center #9
Zhou Qi (sprained left knee) returned to practice on Sunday and might be available to play Tuesday.
Qi has not played this season and is unlikely to be a factor in the Rockets’ rotation with them at full strength.
  • NBA Center #9
Zhou Qi (sprained left ankle) has been ruled out of Saturday’s game vs. the Lakers.
He is not a part of the Rockets regular rotation even when healthy, and is not on the fantasy radar.
  • NBA Center #9
Zhou Qi has been assigned to Houston’s G-League affiliate.
He’s not a rotation player for the Rockets, so he’ll go down and get some reps in the G-League.
  • NBA Center #9
Zhou Qi (sprained left knee) remains sidelined on Wednesday.
He’s not part of the rotation and we don’t expect that to change even when he’s fully healthy.
  • NBA Center #9
Zhou Qi played one minute and scored two points in Tuesday’s loss to the Blazers.
He’d been out with a sprained knee and we only blurbed him to get him off the injury report. He has no fantasy value in any league.
  • NBA Center #9
Zhou Qi (sprained left ankle) will not play on Wednesday against the Pelicans.
He’s not going to be a major part of the rotation this season, so his playing status is irrelevant in terms of fantasy hoops.
