Zhou Qi has signed a contract with the Xinjiang Flying Tigers of the CBA.

Qi was selected by the Rockets with the No. 43 pick in the 2016 NBA draft, but he never really panned out, making just 19 total appearances in his two years of experience without ever doing much. We doubt we’ll see him stateside again.

Zhou Qi has hired a European agent and is reportedly planning to play in Eurpoe next season.

The Rockets drafted Zhou with the 43rd overall pick in the 2016 draft, but he played a total of just 19 games over his first two seasons in the NBA, including just one appearance in 2018-19.
