Eagles listed Fletcher Cox (groin) as questionable for Week 13 against the 49ers.
Cox exited last week’s contest against the Bills and didn’t return to the field. He wasn’t able to get in a practice this week, leading us to believe he’s trending toward missing Week 13’s contest despite being listed as questionable. Linebacker Zach Cunningham, who also exited last week’s contest with a hamstring injury, has already been ruled out for Week 13.
  • PHI Defensive Tackle #91
Fletcher Cox (groin) did not practice on Thursday.
Two straight missed practices for Cox have him trending in the wrong direction for Week 13’s matchup against the 49ers. The veteran defensive tackle has totaled 18 tackles and 1.5 sacks in 10 games for the Eagles. His absence on Sunday could create more opportunities for Jordan Davis, who has played on 132 fewer snaps than Cox despite playing in one more game. In addition to Cox, linebacker Zach Cunningham (hamstring) also missed Thursday’s practice.
  • PHI Defensive Lineman #90
Jordan Davis (hamstring) was limited in Thursday’s practice.
Davis being added to the injury report on Thursday is a bit concerning, but the fact he was able to log a limited session is still encouraging. We’ll see how he fares in Friday’s practice, but for now, we’d expect him to suit up for Week 8 against the Commanders. In addition to Davis, the Eagles also added CB James Bradberry (ankle) and LB Zach Cunningham (ankle) to the practice report. Both were listed as limited participants.
  • PHI Linebacker #41
Eagles signed LB Zach Cunningham to a one-year contract.
The franchise also signed LB Myles Jack. Both should offer a veteran presence to a young linebacker unit in Philadelphia. Nakobe Dean is also expected back shortly from an ankle injury.
  • DEN Linebacker #42
    Titans released LB Zach Cunningham.
Cunningham’s release saves Tennessee $8.9 million while incurring a $4.5 million dead cap hit. Typically a run-stuffing machine, Cunningham’s numbers took a dive in 2022. He totaled 24 tackles with no TFLs across six games while bouncing in and out of the lineup because of an elbow issue. He ultimately ended the year on injured reserve. Expect another team to take a flyer on Cunningham in hopes of helping him rebound.

  • DEN Linebacker #42
Titans placed LB Zach Cunningham (elbow) on injured reserve.
Cunningham was uncharacteristically rough in run defense in 2022 while playing through this shoulder issue -- he was on IR for it earlier in the season as well -- and enters 2023 on a $13.7 million cap hit. We’d be surprised if he saw it, but as a former Mike Vrabel guy in Houston, Cunningham might get a restructure to stick around if the Titans believe he’s healthy.

  • DEN Linebacker #42
Titans LB Zach Cunningham (elbow) left Week 16’s game against the Texans and is questionable to return.
Cunningham already spent time on IR this year with an elbow injury, this was to be his comeback game, so it’s possible he just isn’t right yet. Monty Rice and a plethora of UDFAs are manning inside linebacker for the Titans.

  • DEN Linebacker #42
Titans declared LB Zach Cunningham, WR Kyle Philips, DB Ugo Amadi, LB Joe Jones, FB Tory Carter, DE Sam Okuayinonu, and G Nate Davis inactive for Week 7 against the Colts.
Cunningham was ruled out on Friday because of his elbow issue. He started every game for three weeks but has been injured ever since. Philips will be replaced by practice squad call-up Mason Kinsey on the game-day roster.

  • DEN Linebacker #42
Titans declared WR Dez Fitzpatrick, CB Janoris Jenkins, FB Khari Blasingame, LB David Long, OL Dillon Radunz, DT Teair Tart, and LB Zach Cunningham inactive for Week 14 against the Jaguars.
Titans coach Mike Vrabel made it clear that Cunningham wouldn’t be active against the Jaguars after being claimed by Tennessee on Thursday. The former Texan will have to wait until next week to make his Titans debut. He’ll look to provide a much-needed spark to a depleted linebacker corps.

  • DEN Linebacker #42
Titans claimed former Texans LB Zach Cunningham off waivers.
Cunningham re-unites with former DC Mike Vrabel and former defensive assistant Shane Bowen in Tennessee. Rashaan Evans hasn’t played since Week 7, and Jayon Brown has also missed a major chunk of the season. It’s unclear if Cunningham will immediately mix in with the Titans starters, but he certainly has the talent to be considered for the job.
