Mystics signed G Lauren Jensen to a training camp contract.
With the WNBA’s roster cut down date looming, the Mystics opted to bring another shooting guard into training camp on a rookie-scale contract. It probably helped that Washington shot 3-of-19 from three in yesterday’s 80-70 preseason loss to the Atlanta Dream. Jensen, who went undrafted last month,
shot 51.5 percent from the field, including 36.2 percent from three on six attempts per game, during her final college season at Creighton. The Mystics will have to finalize their roster by May 15, and Jensen will look to fight for a spot alongside fellow rookie guards Zaay Green and Lucy Olsen.
