  • NBA Power Forward #21
Wilson Chandler has officially agreed to a deal with Zhejiang Guangsha Lions and is on his way to China.
The deal was initially reported in early September, but it wasn’t finalized until recently. It’s unclear if his contract will have an NBA-out clause, but even if he returns stateside, he’ll remain irrelevant in fantasy hoops.

  • NBA Power Forward #21
Updating a previous report, Wilson Chandler has not yet finalized a contract with the Zhejiang Lions, according to sources of Nets’ beat reporter, Alex Schiffer.
It’s unclear right now where Chandler will begin the 2020-21 season, but what is clear is that he won’t be worth drafting anywhere in fantasy hoops.

  • NBA Power Forward #21
Wilson Chandler has signed a contract with the Zhejiang Lions of the CBA for the 2020-21 season.
Chandler missed the first 25 games of the 2019-20 season due to a suspension for PED use, and in total, he only made it through 35 games. His contract with the Lions will likely have an NBA-out clause, but even if Chandler returns stateside at some point next season, he’s well past his days of relevancy in fantasy hoops.

  • NBA Power Forward #21
Nets forward Wilson Chandler has informed the team he is opting out of playing in Orlando when the season resumes.
Chandler cites family, health and solidarity with Kyrie Irving as his reasons for not playing in Orlando. The Nets will now be free to sign an additional player, as Chandler’s absence will open up a roster spot. This should end up being good news for both Joe Harris and Caris LeVert, the latter of which was playing really well when the shutdown went into effect. Taurean Prince might be the next man up at power forward, while Rodions Kurucs should also get a small bump going forward.

  • NBA Power Forward #21
Wilson Chandler started over Taurean Prince against the Spurs on Friday but played just 18 minutes with three points, three rebounds and one triple on 1-of-3 shooting.
He’s played 20 or fewer in five straight and it doesn’t seem like this rotation tweak will move the needle much. Chandler is still well outside standard-league territory.
  • NBA Power Forward #21
Wilson Chandler is starting over Taurean Prince against the Spurs on Friday.
Prince hasn’t played great lately and the Nets are struggling, so a move here makes sense. Chandler isn’t a potent stat guy, so he doesn’t become much of a fantasy option unless you’re really desperate right now. Prince should trend down and may be a drop.
  • NBA Power Forward #21
Wilson Chandler (personal) returned from a personal absence to score two points with three rebounds in 18 minutes.
That pretty much sums up his fantasy value as he’s ranked outside the top-250 for the past month in 9-category leagues. If he’s on your fantasy roster we don’t know how you have the will to log in every day.
  • NBA Power Forward #21
Wilson Chandler (personal) isn’t on the Nets’ injury report for Friday’s game.
Chandler should be ready to go vs. the Hawks, though his presence will have minimal impact on season-long fantasy lineups.
  • NBA Power Forward #21
Wilson Chandler (personal) will not play on Wednesday against the Wizards.
With Chandler out for tonight, the Nets will have to go smaller in their second unit, and could possibly slide Timothe Luwawu-Cabarrot over to extend Garrett Temple’s minutes, as well. Taurean Prince could see a couple extra minutes tonight in a favorable matchup.
  • NBA Power Forward #21
Wilson Chandler (personal) is being listed as questionable for Wednesday’s game in Washington.
With this being a personal issue, we should know by tomorrow’s shootaround whether he’s playing or not. If Chandler is unavailable for Wednesday’s game, Rodions Kurucs could get back into the rotation and Garrett Temple may see an uptick in minutes.
