  • FA Defensive Lineman #90
Giants signed DL Willie Henry, formerly of the 49ers.
Henry appeared in one game for the 49ers last year and failed to record a stat. He didn’t play in 2019 but spent two seasons with the Ravens prior. Henry will presumably have to fight for a roster spot. The Giants waived Cale Garrett in a corresponding move.

    Ravens released DT Willie Henry.
The fourth-year defensive tackle couldn’t make it out of camp with Baltimore. Hernia surgery and a back injury cost Henry the bulk of last season. Since going pro in 2016, he’s collected 36 tackles and 4.5 sacks across 17 NFL appearances including three starts.

Ravens placed DT Willie Henry on injured reserve with a back injury.
The 2016 fourth-rounder had recently returned from sports-hernia surgery. He finishes 2018 having played 82 snaps. Headed into the final year of his rookie contact, Henry will be up against it to crack the 53-man roster next season.

Ravens DT Willie Henry (hernia) will miss “a few weeks.”
“He had surgery for [a hernia], so he’ll be a few weeks,” coach John Harbaugh said. Henry started three of 14 games played last season, recording 33 tackles and 3 ½ sacks. The Ravens still have a stout pass-rushing combination with Brandon Williams and Michael Pierce healthy, but this news is certainly a downer for the third-year young talent. Chris Wormley and rookie seventh-rounder Zach Sieler will take Henry’s place in the interim.
  • FA Defensive Lineman #90
Ravens selected Michigan DT Willie Henry with the No. 132 overall pick of the 2016 NFL draft.
Henry (6'3/303) made 22 starts on the Wolverines’ defensive line, amassing 18.5 career tackles for loss and ten sacks. He was an honorable mention All-Big Ten selection as a senior. Henry turned in a solid Combine workout, running 5.0-flat with a 30 1/2-inch vertical and 28 bench-press reps. A three-technique prospect with some power to his game and plenty of up-field burst, Henry has a legitimate chance to develop into an NFL starter.
