Tyler Cavanaugh has agreed to a deal with EuroLeague squad Alba Berlin.
Cavanaugh spent last season on a two-way deal with the Jazz, appearing in 11 NBA games. He played in 50 games total during his two-year stint in the NBA with the Hawks and Jazz.
  • NBA Power Forward #34
Tyler Cavanaugh will play in the Las Vegas Summer League with the Knicks.
Cavanaugh was on a two-way contract with the Jazz in 2018-19 and appeared in just 11 games in his second NBA season. In his rookie year, he played in 39 games for the Hawks. He’s a grinder-type of forward that could carve out a role at the end of someone’s bench.
  • NBA Power Forward #34
Tyler Cavanaugh has signed a deal with the Atlanta Hawks.
His deal includes a partial guarantee, but he’s not expected to make the final 15-man roster and will likely end up in the G-League with the Erie Bayhawks. A 6'9" forward out of George Washington, Cavanaugh put up 18.3 points, 8.4 rebounds, 2.0 assists and 1.9 triples during his senior season.
  • NBA Power Forward #34
Tyler Cavanaugh (right ankle) will remain on the sidelines for Monday’s matchup with the Lakers.
He hasn’t played since mid-January, and is still without an official return date. Leave him on the wire.
  • NBA Power Forward #34
Tyler Cavanaugh (right ankle) has been ruled out of Wednesday’s game vs. the Pacers.
Cavanaugh hasn’t played since January 17th, and isn’t a consistent part of the rotation even when healthy.
  • NBA Power Forward #34
Tyler Cavanaugh (ankle) will not play Friday against the Pacers.
He did not practice on Wednesday and the team will just hold Cavanuagh out to start the second half.
  • NBA Power Forward #34
Tyler Cavanaugh (ankle) will be available to play Tuesday vs. the Thunder.
The last time he played was January 17, so if he is able to get out there tonight, expect him to be extremely limited.
  • NBA Power Forward #34
Tyler Cavanaugh (ankle) returned to action on Tuesday with three points, three rebounds, one assist and one 3-pointer in 14 minutes.
The rookie PF hadn’t played in an NBA game since Jan. 17, but he did get some game-speed conditioning in with the G League recently. He flirted with fantasy relevance in early January, and the Hawks are in full development/evaluation mode, so we’ll be keeping an eye on his role over the next few games.
  • NBA Power Forward #34
Tyler Cavanaugh (right ankle) did not practice on Wednesday.
It sounds like Cavanaugh could miss Friday’s game in Indiana, but he wasn’t a part of the rotation anyway, so his playing status is irrelevant.
  • NBA Power Forward #34
Tyler Cavanaugh (ankle) is probable to play Tuesday vs. the Thunder.
He might be available on Tuesday, but there are no guarantees he’ll actually step foot on the court.
