Cowboys signed No. 12 overall pick OG Tyler Booker to a four-year, $22.553 million contract.
Booker is one of a handful of Cowboys rookies to sign his rookie deal. Per Archer, second round pick Donovan Ezeiraku and fifth-rounder Jaydon Blue remain the only unsigned rookies from the class. The Cowboys made Booker the No. 12 pick of this year’s draft to shore up an offensive line that lost Tyler Smith to retirement earlier this offseason. Booker becomes the first rookie first-rounder from the 2025 class to ink his new deal and should step in as a Day 1 starter this upcoming season.
  • DAL Tackle
Dallas Morning News’ David Moore reports that the Dallas Cowboys intend to keep Tyler Guyton at left tackle.
After drafting Alabama OG Tyler Booker in the first round tonight, there was some thought that the Cowboys would then move Tyler Smith back out to left tackle. Instead, Dallas will start Smith and Booker at guards and keep Tyler Guyton at left tackle. Yes, that’s three Tylers on the starting offensive line for the Dallas Cowboys.
  • Cowboys selected Alabama OG Tyler Booker with the No. 12 overall pick in the 2025 NFL Draft.
Booker (6’5/321) was originally recruited as a tackle, but quickly transitioned to guard where he played 427 snaps and earned Freshman All-American recognition in 2022. He was magnificent last season allowing zero sacks and 10 pressures to go with an 86.5 pass block grade and 98.6 percent pass block efficiency rate. The Second Team All-American isn’t a workout warrior as his Combine testing revealed limited movement ability for a disappointing 3.68 Relative Athletic Score. Booker is at his best in pass protection where he channels immense power in his hands, stalling out even the most talented three techs once his punch lands. Booker rarely gives ground and possesses a fortified anchor to handle the most spirited of bull rushes. He is somewhat awkward when climbing to the second level on run plays, but his rooted strength and clean, refined technique make him one of the highest-floor prospects from the 2025 offensive line class.
  • Alabama signed 2022 four-star OT Tyler Booker.
Booker (6'5"/325) is a high four-star, the 51st ranked played in the nation and the sixth ranked OT. He’s from the IMG Academy in Florida, and rejected all the best schools (Georgia, Ohio State, Florida, etc) to stick with the Crimson Tide. He’s played on the defensive line in high school, and has the top tier athleticism and leadership you want in an offensive lineman.

  • Alabama received a verbal commitment from four-star 2022 OT Tyler Booker.
Booker (6'5/325) is an immense prospect, in literal terms, who is ranked as the fifth offensive tackle and 39th overall prospect in the nation who carries a sterling .9811 player rating on the 247Sports composite. The IMG Academy product has taken five visits to his final list of contenders with the programs being Florida, Georgia, Ohio State, Oregon and of course Alabama. The Crimson Tide’s 2022 haul is ranked as the second best team in the SEC and sixth nationally according to 247Sports.

  • Uncommitted four-star 2022 T Tyler Booker called his official visit to Florida “amazing.”
“I just saw myself being a Gator when I was there,” said the 6-foot-5, 315-pound Booker of his trip to Gainesville the first weekend of June. While Florida seems to have hit it out of the park with this visit, the program will need to fend off a slew of real contenders, notably Alabama, Ohio State, Georgia and Oregon, if they are to come away with the big man’s signature this winter. The Ducks just drew an official of their own to kick off the week, with official journeys to Georgia and Ohio State on the ledger set for the coming days. Capping off this string of visits will be Alabama next week. And that will be it in terms of official visits for the Bradenton, Florida, native. While Booker has refrained from naming a leader, UGA is in a great place with the talented tackle -- per Rivals -- and seems to have a slight edge at this juncture. Rivals ranks Booker as the No. 103 overall prospect in the 2022 class.
