Metropolitans 92 of France announced that Tremont Waters has agreed to a one-year contract.
The 51st overall pick of the Celtics in the 2019 NBA Draft, Waters struggled to establish himself as a pro after two standout seasons at LSU. After playing with the Grizzlies’ Summer League squad in Las Vegas, Waters is headed to France for the next step in his professional career. And he’s sure to have NBA eyeballs on him, as one of Waters’ teammates will be Victor Wembanyama, who’s projected to be the top overall pick in the 2023 NBA Draft.

Tremont Waters entered the leagues’ health & safety protocols on Monday.
Waters just signed a 10-day deal with the Wizards on Friday, but now he’ll be unavailable for at least the next five days. Bradley Beal will essentially be the Wizards’ point guard tonight, and guys like Corey Kispert and Deni Avdija will get all the run they can handle.

  • FA Point Guard #51
The Wizards are planning to sign guard Tremont Waters on a 10-day hardship contract, per Shams Charania of The Athletic.
Waters just came off of a deal with the Raptors in which he played two games, and while he was decent in one of them, we don’t expect him to be someone to consider as far as fantasy hoops go.

  • FA Point Guard #51
Tremont Waters saw 35 minutes off the bench on Sunday and finished with eight points (3-of-11 FG), three rebounds, six assists, two triples, three steals and four turnovers in a bad loss to the Cavs.
Waters came off the bench for the Raptors tonight, but as one of just eight players available and the only true point guard on the roster, he still logged starters minutes. Fred VanVleet and Malachi Flynn will remain in quarantine for at least one more game, so Waters could be someone to think about as a streamer in deep leagues for Tuesday’s game vs. the 76ers, although he could hurt you with the inefficient shooting.

The Raptors plan to sign Tremont Waters to a 10-day hardship deal, per Shams Charnia.
With Fred VanVleet and Malachi Flynn entering into league protocols, the Raptors added Waters to give them depth at point guard. Waters averaged 3.8 points and 2.4 assists in 9.2 minutes per game last season in Boston, so he could provide some value in deeper fantasy leagues if he gets more minutes.

The Milwaukee Bucks have waived Tremont Waters and Javin DeLaurier.
This solidifies Milwaukee’s roster for opening night and they’re all set for what should be a thrilling game against the Brooklyn Nets on Tuesday.

  • FA Point Guard #51
Guard Tremont Waters has agreed to a deal with the Milwaukee Bucks according to Shams Charania of The Athletic.
Waters spent the first two years of his career in Boston where he split time between the active roster and the G-League. According to Charania, Waters will have the opportunity to compete for a roster spot, as well as a two-way contract in Milwaukee. Neither of which will make Waters a fantasy target.

Kemba Walker (left knee) and Robert Williams (left ankle) have been ruled out for Tuesday’s Game 5 matchup with the Celtics.
Walker and Williams were both being listed as doubtful, so it’s not surprising to see them hit the sidelines tonight. Expect more run for Romeo Langford, Payton Pritchard, Tremont Waters and Tristan Thompson, with Marcus Smart seeing an uptick in playmaking responsibilities.

  • Shooting Guard #15
Romeo Langford will start for Kemba Walker (knee) in Sunday’s Game 4.
Walker won’t be able to play tonight and Langford will get the start over Payton Pritchard and Tremont Waters tonight. Pritchard probably has the best chance at fantasy success but Langford will get a shot at it early. The Nets lead the series 2-1 and will look to make it 3-1 with both Walker and Robert Williams out tonight.

  • CHA Coaching Staff #34
Kemba Walker (left knee medial bone bruise) is being listed as questionable for Friday’s Game 3 matchup with the Nets.
A bone bruise can be pretty painful and this is Walker’s bad knee, so it is possible he’ll need to skip Friday’s game. We might get another update following tomorrow’s shootaround, but he’ll likely be headed for a game-time decision. If he isn’t able to give it a go, Tremont Waters could get the spot-start and there will be more minutes available for guys like Aaron Nesmith and Payton Pritchard. Stay tuned.
