Raiders signed OT Tony Hills, formerly of the Bills.
A former fourth-round pick, Hills can also play both guard and tackle. He appeared in six games for the Colts last season, starting one. We wouldn’t guess he’s a candidate to start, but who knows in Oakland.
  • FA Wide Receiver
    Colts released WR Kris Adams.
Adams was essentially a practice body. The Colts also promoted T Tony Hills from the practice squad. This move suggests the Colts had concerns about their offensive line being too thin for Sunday’s tilt against the Packers.
  • Broncos RT Orlando Franklin has been excused from the team to deal with a family matter.
On Wednesday night, Franklin tweeted, “Thanks guys for all your prayers for my little brother. Its a shame that he had to die at 20.” Franklin, the No. 46 overall pick in the draft, has started all four games this season. If he doesn’t return to the team in time for Sunday’s game against the Chargers, Chris Clark and Tony Hills are candidates to get the nod.

Bills released OT Tony Hills and waived WR Terrell Sinkfield, CB Don Unamba, and S Mark LeGree.
Hills, 28, didn’t last a month on the roster, and the other three players were just camp bodies. First cuts aren’t due for another two-plus weeks (August 27), but the Bills are getting a head start.

    Saints re-signed OT Tony Hills.
He’s taking the spot of P.J. Williams, who was placed on I.R. Hills will serve in a swing role behind Terron Armstead and Zach Strief.
  • FA Guard #67
    Lions signed OT Tony Hills.
A true journeyman, Hills appeared in 11 games for the Saints last season after signing in September. Going on 33, Hills will be up against it to crack the Lions’ 53-man roster.

Lions OT Tony Hills has retired.
A 2008 fourth-rounder, Hills made just one start in nine NFL seasons. He appeared in 11 games for the Saints in 2016. He turns 33 in November.

    Saints signed OT Tony Hills.
Jahri Evans just underwent a knee scope and ESPN Saints reporter Mike Triplett suspects Terron Armstead might be banged up as well, necessitating the need for offensive line depth. Hills was cut from the Ravens’ practice squad a few weeks ago.

Steelers agreed to terms with fourth-round pick Tony Hills on a three-year deal, according to Scout.com.
The deal is reportedly worth $1.45 million with a $304,500 signing bonus. Hills battled injuries throughout his time at Texas, but he has great feet at the base of his 6'6" frame. He was recruited out of high school as a tight end.

Bills signed OLs Tony Hills and Antoine Caldwell.
New Bills GM Doug Whaley knows Hills well, as he was in Pittsburgh when the Steelers made the former Texans Longhorn a fourth-round pick. Hill is a journeyman tackle. Caldwell has experience at both guard and center.
