Scherrer was the lone 2007 Nationwide Tour grad to have won a PGA Tour event (2000 Kemper). The 37-year old UNC product has made a nice living but he hasn’t disproved his “tweener” label. You’ll have better options when you think it’s time to select Scherrer.

7yTom Scherrer withdrew from the Buick Open after his opening round of 5-over-par 77.

No reason was given for his withdrawal and will will update if one is given later.

7yTom Scherrer withdrew on Monday from the Frys.com Open.

Scherrer has made six cuts in 18 starts this season on the Tour and he currently is in 209th place on the Tour’s Money List.
