Dolphins DE Terrence Fede has a sprained MCL.
Fede suffered the injury Thursday night against the Falcons. Sprained knees usually carry a two-to-four week timetable, making him extremely questionable for the start of the regular season. Fede should fill a rotational role when healthy.
  • FA Defensive Lineman #69
Dolphins DE Terrence Fede expects to have a bigger defensive role in his sophomore season.
A seventh-round pick out of Marist, Fede played just 82 snaps on defense his rookie year. He did record a sack and had a game-winning blocked punt. Fede could work his way into a situational role with a strong offseason.
  • FA Defensive Lineman #69
ESPN’s James Walker said Dion Jordan’s suspension could allow seventh-round DE Terrence Fede to make the Dolphins’ roster.
Fede appeared to be ticketed for the practice squad, but the Jordan news could open a spot for Marist’s all-time sack leader. Even if he makes the squad, there is little chance Fede will have an impact this season.
  • FA Defensive Lineman #69
Dolphins signed seventh-round DE Terrence Fede to a four-year contract.
Fede racked up 30.5 career sacks at Marist and was the Pioneer Football League Defensive Player of the Year as a senior. He’s raw and may ultimately be ticketed for the practice squad.
  • FA Defensive Lineman #69
Dolphins selected Marist DE Terrence Fede with the No. 234 overall pick in the 2014 NFL draft.
He’s the fourth FCS player the Dolphins have selected today. Fede (6-foot-3, 276) is Marist’s all-time leader in sacks with 30.5 and was the Pioneer Football League Defensive Player of the Year as a senior (13 sacks, 18 TFLs, four batted passes and one forced fumble). There are some raw tools here.
  • FA Defensive Lineman #69
Bills signed DE Terrence Fede, formerly of the Dolphins.
Fede, 26, played 171 rotational snaps for Miami last season but recorded no sacks. He’s near the bottom of the depth chart at defensive end in Buffalo.
