    Rams waived EDGE Terrell Lewis.
Lewis, a 2020 third-round pick, has fallen behind other players at his position after starting the year as a consistent part of the line rotation in Los Angeles. He has six career sacks and 10 career quarterback hits. A claiming team would be on the hook for his 2023 unguaranteed salary from the final year of his rookie contract.

Rams OLB Terrell Lewis (back) is active for Week 14 against Arizona.
Lewis, who is playing 40ish weekly snaps, was one of just two questionable players for Los Angeles. The real inactive news came earlier Monday, when it was announced Jalen Ramsey and Tyler Higbee were joining Darrell Henderson on the COVID-19 list. That makes for a severely-undermanned Rams team as they try to pull the road upset. Joining Lewis on the shelf are OL Brian Allen, QB Bryce Perkins, OLB Chris Garrett and OL Tremayne Anchrum.

Rams LB Terrell Lewis (knee) will plays in Week 5 against Washington.
The 84th pick in the 2020 NFL Draft, Lewis spent time on the COVID-19 list this summer before being placed on the reserve/NFI list. Lewis needed a knee operation to address an infection. He’ll make his debut this week against Washington.

Rams placed OLB Terrell Lewis (knee) on reserve/NFI.
The 84th pick in this year’s draft, Lewis has done very little practicing since entering the league. He spent time on the COVID-19 list and now needs an operation on his knee because the team feared he had an infection. Lewis tore his ACL in 2018 at Alabama. He will miss at least the first three games of this season.

Rams activated third-round EDGE Terrell Lewis off the reserve/COVID list.
Lewis had been on the list since July 31. If healthy, Lewis has a great opportunity to see playing time along the Rams defensive front, as offseason signing Leonard Floyd could be considered the team’s best outside pass rusher.

Rams placed third-round EDGE Terrell Lewis on the reserve/COVID list.
Lewis (6’5/262) arguably would have garnered interest in the first round if it weren’t for the torn elbow ligament he suffered in Alabama’s 2017 season opener (which forced him to miss 10 games) and a torn ACL experienced the very next summer. He successfully bounced back in 2019, earning second-team All-SEC honors as a redshirt junior, but still lacks the on-field reps after logging only 685 career snaps across four starts for the Crimson Tide. Lewis’ bend off the edge is a valuable trait, but he’s admittedly short the arsenal of a locked-in Day 1 prospect. Assuming he can stay healthy, the upside of an impact NFL pass rusher is absolutely there.
