    Conley struggled with consistency throughout the preseason, but the move leaves the Jets with no established punter on the roster. They will have to sign one in the next few days.

    Lanning will apparently compete with T.J. Conley for punting duties. The Bears also put in a claim, attempting to add insurance for Adam Podlesh (hip).
