Ahead of their friendly in Paris on Friday the German national team has been involved in a bomb scare.
The reigning World Cup champs are staying at the Hotel Molitor which was evacuated on the morning of the game.

According to the Associated Press in Paris, “an anonymous caller phoned in the threat at 9:50 a.m. and that all guests were immediately evacuated.”
It has also been reported by the AP that “sniffer dogs went on site to check for potential explosives” while a secure zone has been set up around the hotel.
Joachim Low and his players will no doubt have been impacted by this threat but the team have confirmed that they return to the hotel after the search just hours before France and Germany -- who met at the quarterfinal stage of the 2014 World Cup with Germany prevailing 1-0 on their way to winning the trophy in Brazil -- square off at the Stade de France in one of a number of high-profile friendlies taking place across Europe.
