Schalke teenage midfielder Leroy Sane is one of the brightest prospects in Europe, and German publication Bild says Jurgen Klopp wants the youngster at Anfield.
Sane turns 20 in January, and has also been linked with Manchester United. He has more goals (5), assists (4), and appearances (18) this season than he did all of last year, and is a big part of Schalke’s fifth-place start to the season under coach André Breitenreiter.

It’s going to take a lot more than the $15 million Liverpool are said to have bid for the once-capped German international (who is the son of longtime Senegalese star Souleyman Sane and bronze-medal winning German gymnast Regina Weber).
Sane plays both left and right wing, and is credited with a goal or an assist in six of his last eight games. Schalke recently sold longtime rumor-mill man Julian Draxler for a record fee to Wolfsburg, and are they willing to offload another massive prospect? Will they have a choice?
