More than 21 percent of Premier League action on Twitter in the United States comes from Arsenal, a 1.4 percent advantage over its nearest rival.
Chelsea is second, followed by Manchester United, Liverpool, Manchester City, Tottenham Hotspur and Everton.
The interactive map, embedded below for your scrolling delight, claims to show “where you’ll find followers for every Premier League club, with some coming from areas that are thousands of miles away.”

In the case of the United States, this is obviously the case and Arsenal draws its power from the coasts, while Chelsea and Manchester United pick up their points largely inland (I’ve never said “inland” regarding the United States. It feels weird. Middle America?).
It comes as no surprise that the Top Six on Twitter is the Top Six in the league. Have to wonder if Everton’s seventh-place spot will be able to outlive Tim Howard’s reign as its No. 1 keeper. Then again, Stoke is 14th despite a decent history of acquiring American players, so perhaps that’s unfair to “Toffee Nation”.
As an aside, it’s a little infuriating how difficult it is to scroll deeper into the United States. Pretty please, Twitter.
