Sergio Aguero can score goals. Just ask Spurs.
After tallying four goals in Manchester City’s 4-1 win over Tottenham, Aguero became the Citizens all-time leading scorer in Premier League play with 61 goals. His form has thrilled manager Manuel Pellegrini, who said the striker has the potential to win the Balon d’Or for world’s best player.

Since Aguero joined Manchester City in 2011, only two players have scored more goals in the Premier League, Robin van Persie and Luis Suarez. Considering both van Persie and Suarez have played so much more than Aguero (more than 1,800 minutes or over 20 full matches), one could only guess how many goals he can score if his health remains consistent.

In Europes top-five leagues, only Cristiano Ronaldo and Neymar are scoring at a more prolific rate than Aguero. While it looks like Ronaldo is going to run away with the Golden Boot, Aguero has certainly put his name in the mix of best pure goal scorers in the world.
