At what point does someone start asking whether or not we should include Paul Pogba in the who’s the best player in the world debate?
OK, so maybe he’s still got a long way to go to enter the rarified air of Cristiano Ronaldo and Lionel Messi, but as far as who’s the third-best player in the world, Paul Pogba is in that conversation and might even be the real answer.

He’s great, we know that. Without a doubt he’s the best central midfielder in the world. He does it all — he wins the ball, his passing range is out of this world and he scores goals. Oh, he scores some stunning goals.
Pogba’s latest effort, an 82nd-minute howitzer against Sassuolo, rescued all three points for Juventus and kept The Old Lady on track to win a fourth-straight Serie A title.
