This has placed added importance on earning a group stage place.
Whoever should come out victorious would move into third place, while a draw would see the status quo intact with the Gunners holding a two-point advantage.

Wayne Rooney is the biggest miss for Manchester United in its last home match, picking up a thigh injury in last week’s win over Crystal Palace. In his place comes Radamel Falcao in a last-ditch effort to prove he belongs long-term at Old Trafford, something he has failed to do this year. Robin van Persie and Angel Di Maria remain on the bench.
Also injured for the Red Devils is Luke Shaw, so Louis van Gaal has selected a trio of central defenders in his back line. Marouane Fellaini will continue his high midfield marauding position.
For Arsenal, Danny Welbeck continues his spell on the sidelines with a knee injury as Olivier Giroud remains up front. Aaron Ramsey returned to training on Friday following a knock and remains in the starting lineup. Jack Wilshere continues to only make the bench as Arsene Wenger makes no changes from the 1-0 loss to Swansea City last weekend.
