College soccer is awesome.
In the second round of the NCAA tournament on Sunday, the No. 1 overall seed Maryland were leading 4-1 heading into the final 21 minutes. No problem, right?
Then, Providence College exploded into life, scoring four times (including two stunning long-range strikes) in 11 minutes to win 5-4 and seal a dramatic win which sends them through to the Sweet 16 of the NCAA Division I tournament at the expense of Maryland.
The Terps were undefeated all season and red-hot favorites to win it all. Wowza.
