Southampton boss Ronald Koeman is eager to keep hold of England international right back Nathaniel Clyne, but the 24-year-old continues to be linked with a move to Arsenal, Manchester United and now Chelsea. Clyne has just over a year left on his current Saints contract and the south coast club must now decided whether or not to cash in on him this summer or risk losing him for nothing in 2016.

Clyne has broken into England’s side over the past few months and has excelled in the last three seasons at Southampton. United have long been rumored in a move for Clyne to fill their need for a right back, while Arsenal and Chelsea’s names have only recently been mentioned in the gossip column. Multiple reports in the UK have linked Clyne with Chelsea over the past few days as the Londoner would cost in excess of $25 million.

Elsewhere, another blockbuster deal is being lined up this summer. Despite Brendan Rodgers saying Liverpool star Raheem Sterling is “going nowhere,” the 20-year-old winger is being linked with a move to Arsenal. The Daily Star claims that Theo Walcott will be offered as a makeweight in the deal, which will also see the Gunners pay Liverpool $30 million. Sterling admitted to being “flattered” by reported interest from Arsenal in a recent ill-advised interview and the Liverpool star also revealed that he has turned down a new $150,000 a week contract offer from the Reds. Walcott has just over a year left on his current Arsenal deal, so maybe everything will merge together this summer to create a mega-deal? Liverpool will likely want to keep hold of Sterling and not sell him to a PL rival but if Walcott is included in a deal, it becomes more intriguing for the Anfield club.

Another piece of gossip suggests that Everton will make Manchester United man Tom Cleverley (currently out on loan at Aston Villa) their top transfer target this summer. Roberto Martinez almost moved for Cleverley last summer and the Guardian believes he will make a move for the United midfielder once again in the offseason. The Manchester Evening News has claimed that Everton is interested in another United player, Adnan Januzaj, after Martinez failed to bring the Belgian winger to Goodison Park on loan in January.
