Terrence Boyd: proof positive he is embracing the United States

Boyd - US

The older U.S. national team players love Terrence Boyd. Not just because he’s a terrific young player – they love that he’s such a good kid.

Boyd was the proverbial kid in a candy store, in fact, on his first big swing through the United States. (Boyd is the German-born son of an American serviceman, so he’s eligible to play for the U.S. national team.)

He was so excited to learn about the United States and visit some of the historic and cultural destinations he had only learned about in school. (Players were able to tell him pretty much anything about the “rules” and “laws” and their wide-eyed young teammate would believe them.)

Speaking of which: what says “embracing” like a giant bald eagle inked onto your forearm?

Boyd was so proud of his newest body art that he put this Instagram out on Twitter this morning.
