Originally thought to be a game-time decision for the Liverpool match, City boss Manuel Pellegrini confirmed that the star striker is fit and ready to play this weekend.
Aguero still leads the team in scoring, despite playing in just eight Premier League matches this season. Two of those appearances were also short cameos, coming on as a sub against West Brom and being forced off early in a match against Crystal Palace.
His return comes at the perfect time for City, not only because of the big match against Liverpool, but also because the club is deal with a string of injuries.

Aguero’s replacement Wilfried Bony was injured in City’s last match against Aston Villa, while captain and center-back Vincent Kompany was also ruled out for Saturday’s match.
Midfield playmakers David Silva and Samir Nasri will also continue to miss time with longer-term injuries.
