The doubts surrounding Raheem Sterling’s Liverpool future are growing by the day, as the 20-year-old will reportedly turn down any offer of a new contract from the club, and financial terms aren’t the only sticking point for Sterling, according to reports out of England.

The Daily Mail claims Sterling is prepared to turn down a massive $270,000-per-week offer from Liverpool, following frustrations over contract negotiations which have dragged on for months now, as well as the player’s unhappiness and uncertainty over being played in a number of different positions in recent weeks by manager Brendan Rodgers.
Sterling will reportedly only discuss a new contract — his current $50,000-per-week deal still has two years remaining — following the end of the current Premier League season, and even then further reassurances over his place in the team and the club’s ambitions will be necessary.

Sterling was one of England’s brightest stars during Friday’s 4-0 defeat of Lithuania, as the young attacker scored a goal and provided the assist for Harry Kane’s first England goal.
Unsurprisingly, a number of top Premier League teams have already been linked with moves for Sterling, should his time at Anfield come to an end this summer. This saga looks destined to drag on and on and on.
