Jese Rodriguez has only played sparingly at Real Madrid with the three-headed monster showing no signs of slowing down so it was time to move on.
According to French paper L’Equipe, the 23-year-old is on his way to Paris Saint-Germain to replace Zlatan Ibrahimovic at the front of their attack. Rodriguez will reportedly cost $28 million, a bargain considering some of the prices across Europe this summer.
Jese will fit in well at PSG, where they play a similar style to Real Madrid. The Spaniard can play on the left or at the head of the attack, and will likely get plenty of playing time behind Edinson Cavani and Angel Di Maria.
Si tout se passe bien, Jesé va devenir la doublure de #Cavani au #PSG dans quelques jours #Mercato

Last season, Jese got a solid 28 appearances with Real Madrid, but only seven of those were starts, while he played fewer than 25 minutes in 12 of those appearances. He was heavily linked with Liverpool this summer, but he has the ability to get Champions League action with PSG.
This move heavily diminishes the rumors of Alexander Lacazette to PSG, and will give Arsenal a boost in that department.
