Joey Barton looks set to miss Rangers’ weekend match versus Ross County after reportedly being sent home from training on Thursday.
The 34-year-old midfielder is alleged to be involved in a training ground fight with teammate Andy Halliday.
The Press Association Sport said Barton was sent home and told to stay away from the team until Monday.

Barton’s history of on- and off-field problems is well-documented, though they had cooled since his move to Burnley last year. He was the club’s Player of the Season as the Clarets earned promotion to the Premier League.
Rangers did not issue a comment on the incident, according to the BBC. The Scottish team was hammered by Celtic in the Old Firm Derby this weekend.
