PHOTOS: Bayern Munich light Allianz Arena as American flag for July 4th

The Fourth of July celebrations hit Germany on Monday as Bayern Munich lit the Allianz Arena in red, white & blue.

As the sun set in Munich, the 75,000 seat stadium was lit as an American flag to celebrate Independence Day with their fans from the U.S.

Bayern also announced that they have now reached 100 official fan clubs in the U.S., the largest network of any European club in America.

The four-time defending Bundesliga champions will be stateside this summer for their preseason tour, playing AC Milan in Chicago, Inter Milan in Charlotte, and Real Madrid in New Jersey.
