Radja Nainggolan’s deflected effort from distance propelled the Belgians to victory in the 84th minute. Goalkeeper Andreas Isaksson did everything he could to keep the Swedes in the match, making seven saves, however, the attack couldn’t match his brilliance.

Belgium finishes second in Group E with the result, despite finishing level on points with Italy. The Red Devils will meet Hungary in the Round of 16.

For Sweden, Ibrahimovic’s struggles throughout the competition continued on Wednesday. The veteran striker didn’t register a finish during EURO 2016, which largely contributed to the team’s lack of success.
