This season alone, the 11th-place all-time Salah has passed Teddy Sheringham, Thierry Henry, Andy Cole, and now — as of Week 19 at West Ham — David Beckham.
The Egyptian King is in the Premier League’s Top 10.
How many Premier League assists does Mohamed Salah have?
Liverpool’s Egyptian King continues to rise up the Premier League lists for all-time goals and assists.
He assisted Diogo Jota in Week 1 of the 2024-25 Premier League season to reach the 70-assist mark in the Premier League, and now has 82 after Week 19.
That has passed David Beckham for 10th-place all-time. Salah is enjoying making history, and James Milner’s next on his radar.
Kevin De Bruyne’s history chase: Only Giggs above
‘KDB’ has now chased down Frank Lampard, Wayne Rooney, and Cesc Fabregas to trail only one player, Ryan Giggs, on the Premier League’s all-time assists list.
Sadly for KDB, that’s a bridge too far unless the Belgian stays a bit longer than expected in the PL; Giggs’ 162 Premier League assists are nearly 50 more than De Bruyne.
Also chasing legends are Andy Robertson, Raheem Sterling, Heung-min Son, and Mohamed Salah.
De Bruyne now has 115 Premier League assists, and 100 PL assists is a feat that can be claimed by only four other players and has never been done faster than De Bruyne’s achieved it.
De Bruyne may not stay at City or in the Premier League long enough to track down Giggs, but this has been a special run regardless.
There are several other active Premier League players in and around the top 25 for all-time assists, while Jamie Vardy, Bruno Fernandes, Bernardo Silva, James Maddison, Bukayo Saka, and James Ward-Prowse could reach the 50-assist mark this season.
