Another FA Cup match, another Premier League giant downed.
The defending Premier League champions were held scoreless at home as Championship-side Middlesbrough found a way to shock Manchester City with a 2-0 win.
Tied 0-0 at halftime, youngster Patrick Bamford opened the scoring for Middlesbrough when he cleaned up the scraps in the 53rd minute. Willy Caballero got the start in net for City and looked shaky on the goal, getting beat to a loose ball as it popped out in front of an empty net.

Middlesbrough created multiple chances in the second half as City’s defense looked lost all over the pitch. The deficit could have been larger, but Lee Tomlin hit the inside of the post as City could breath a sigh of relief.
But as City pushed forward in stoppage time, Middlesbrough countered and substitute Kike beat Caballero with a cool finish in the 93rd minute.
A shocking result in a wild day for the FA Cup.
