Lionel Messi will not play for Barcelona in their La Liga game against Malaga on Saturday.
Messi, 29, was taken ill before the game and Barca sent out the following message to confirm he would not be available.
Barcelona currently trail La Liga leaders Real Madrid by two points and could momentarily go top on Saturday with Real facing Atletico Madrid in the Madrid derby later on Saturday.
Messi traveled to South America last weekend and played for Argentina in their defeat against Brazil and then their victory against Colombia in 2018 World Cup qualifying.
