Wolves hammered Leicester 3-0 at the King Power Stadium on Sunday, with Vitor Pereira getting off to the perfect start as Wolves boss.

First half goals from Goncalo Guedes, Rodrigo Gomes and Matheus Cunha did the damage, as Leicester were their own worst enemies.
The win moves Wolves on to 12 points, just two points behind Leicester who sit just outside the relegation zone.
Pereira brings confidence to talented Wolves
Vitor Pereira is clearly a man who believes in himself and Wolves’ players have already shown they will follow his every word. Wolves looked full of confidence, were hungry and pounced on Leicester’s mistakes with clinical finishing. They scored with all three of their shots on target in the first half and were even wasteful in the second half with a couple of big opportunities. Still, this win was huge as Wolves have dragged a host of teams back into the relegation scrap and Pereira was delighted at the final whistle as he celebrated a debut win as a Premier League manager. He is confident, brash and loud and Wolves’ talented and somewhat volatile squad seem to have found a natural leader. It’s early days but the early signs are very good that Pereira is the kind of manager who can get the best out of this talented squad and give them the confidence to bury teams when they get the chance.

Joao Gomes heads wide at the back post and he should score
A cross to the box finds Joao Gomes at the back post and he somehow heads wide. He should have scored.
Leicester are more solid
The Foxes have been solid defensively in the second half but Wolves aren’t making them work that hard.
Faes on at half time
Well, Ruud van Nistelrooy had to change something at the break and Wout Faes is on for Jannik Vestergaard at center back. Leicester did fight back from 2-0 down in their last home game to draw 2-2 against Brighton...
Cunha surely wins it — Leicester 0-3 Wolves
A lovely calm finish off the far post and that is surely it. What a first half from Wolves! They’ve scored with all three of their shots on target.
Rodrigo Gomes doubles the lead — Leicester 0-2 Wolves
Rodrigo Gomes puts Wolves 2-0 up after a poor mistake from Leicester. The ball is allowed to sneak through to Gomes at the back post and he bundles it home. New Wolves boss Vitor Pereira is in dreamland.
Lovely finish from Guedes — Leicester 0-1 Wolves
Well, Guedes certainly made the most of that mistake! A mix up sees the ball drop to him and he finishes superbly past Ward. What a start for Wolves!

Leicester vs Wolves prediction
There will definitely be goals galore in this game as both teams are very suspect defensively but have bags of attacking talent. This will end even. Leicester 2-2 Wolves.
Leicester vs Wolves preview
The Foxes were hammered 4-0 at Newcastle last weekend and Ruud van Nistelrooy’s side have lost four of their last six games and are just two points above the relegation zone. Van Nistelrooy does have a win and a draw from his first two home games in charge (against West Ham and Brighton respectively) as Leicester look dangerous on the counter but suspect defensively. If they truly want to stay in the Premier League, Leicester have to win home games like this.
Wolves just want to win any game right now as Gary O’Neil has been sacked and Vitor Pereira has been named as their new manager. Wolves missed so many good chances and then lost late on at home against Ipswich last weekend as they have just nine points this season and are five points from safety. Pereira has a simple task: stop Wolves from conceding so many goals and try to get the ball to Matheus Cunha as much as possible in attacking areas.
