Apparently, Chris Gunter’s brother was among the many who didn’t expect Wales to make the EURO 2016 semifinal.

Wales, of course, plays Portugal on Wednesday for the right to face France or Germany in the tournament final.

And now his parents are opting to go to the match instead of his brother’s wedding, which is in Mexico on Thursday.

The kicker? Reading defender Gunter is the best man in the wedding, and will give his speech via Skype.

Surely that will be a memorable speech, but if Gunter’s brother is stung we suggest he reevaluate having a destination wedding on a Thursday.

Moreso, how about a little faith in Wales? We know, we know...
