The former Mexican National Team manager got Chivas within a win of making the playoffs but fell just short on the final matchday of the season.
Neither the owner nor Sporting Director Francisco Palencia confirmed whether the “inappropriate action” was verbal or physical.
Palencia did mention that they are now “mobilizing to find a replacement to take over the team’s preseason.”According to other reports, legal action is being against La Volpe, though it is unclear if that action is legal or criminal.
