It absolutely stinks that U.S. Soccer supporters can’t butt heads in heated debates over the selection of over-aged players for the Olympics. What fun that would have been.
Sigh.
They can certainly go round about it down in Mexico. In fact, those arguments and discussions are beginning to bloom. Like the one regarding Javier “Chicharito” Hernandez.
Mexican Olympic team coach Luis Fernando Tena calls Hernandez “a natural candidate.” The Manchester United striker just barely misses the age cutoff anyway; he’s 24, a year too old for the tournament.

Speaking of K.C., Mexico won the CONCACAF under-23 championship there last night, downing nine-man Honduras. Both countries will go to London this summer. The Olympic draw is April 24.
