Hazard was forced off just 15 minutes into the match, as the Blues went on to win 3-0 in their first victory under Guus Hiddink.
After the match, Hiddink confirmed it was a groin injury, and said Hazard would have an MRI on Monday to determine the extent of the problem.
The winger missed two games in December with what was identified as a hip injury, although it is unclear is this new issue is related.

Hazard was brilliant last season, named the PFA Player of the Year after scoring 14 goals and grabbing 9 assists as Chelsea won the title. However, he has struggled mightily ever since.
Despite scoring twice in preseason friendlies over the summer, Hazard’s last competitive goal for the Blues came way back in May.
