Chelsea is feeling mighty confident.

That’s not much of a surprise, considering the club’s 13-match Premier League winning streak. It’s a single-season record, moving Chelsea to within 90 minutes of breaking a tie with Arsenal.

Center back Gary Cahill scored Chelsea’s first goal, and summed up the Blues’ attitude after the match.

“Nevertheless, we showed good character. We never felt like we were beaten, but it was a tough game, as we expected.

“We have to keep grounded and focused on what we are doing. This was difficult. We have a feeling at the minute that we don’t think we will get beaten, but that is because we’re working hard.”

On a day with two uncharacteristic concessions, Chelsea showed its firepower is well-stocked. The Blues can standalone in the history books by winning a London Derby at White Hart Lane on Wednesday.
