German international winger Andre Schurrle has reportedly told Chelsea that he wants a move back to the Bundesliga.
According to Sky Sports, representatives from second-placed Wolfsburg are said to be flying into London on Monday to try and tie up a deal for Schurrle.

The 24-year-old World Cup winner has been used mostly as a sub this season by Jose Mourinho’s men and Schurrle’s departure would open up a spot for the Blues to bring in Colombian winger Juan Cuadrado, as that move had been widely reported over the past week.
One stumbling block in this deal may be the transfer fee as Chelsea reportedly want $35 million for the player they plucked from Bayer Leverkusen for $27 million in 2013.
Schurrle has scored 14 goals in 57 appearances for Chelsea and jumped off the bench in the Blues’ 5-0 win over Swansea City in their last PL outing and scored. However in his two previous appearances for Chelsea he started against Southampton in the PL and Watford in the FA Cup but was hooked off at half time in both matches after less than impressive displays.
Did those moves from Mourinho show that he’s unhappy with the German winger? Surely Schurrle took the hint after being subbed out at half time in two-straight games that his long-term future may lie elsewhere? With Cuadrado being lined up and the likes of Willian, Eden Hazard and Oscar in front of him at Chelsea, the future in west London is not looking too bright for the German.
Regardless, Schurrle’s pace and precision have seen him jump off the bench plenty of times to cause problems (as we saw for Germany at the World Cup where he scored three goals as a substitute and also set up the winning-goal in the World Cup final after coming off the bench) but does he want to be an impact player or a main man? At Chelsea, Schurrle is likely to be the former but at an ambitious Wolfsburg outfit who are aiming to challenge Bayern Munich for the Bundesliga title, Schurrle would be a key contributor.
If he wants regular minutes and the chance to be a go-to guy, Schurrle should move to Wolfsburg. His time at Chelsea hasn’t hurt his reputation, but he has hardly flourished in the PL. Maybe a move back to his homeland will kick-start Schurrle’s career.
