In his own words, Farhad Moshiri has vowed to give Everton “whatever I have” after two weeks ago becoming the Premier League club’s new 49.9 percent owner and on Saturday watching his new investment book its place in the FA Cup semifinal at Wembley Stadium in April.

Moshiri, whose net worth is nearly $2 billion, not only hopes to reinvigorate the club through his deep pockets, but also to ride the wave of the Toffees’ trip to Wembley as the club endures a second straight disappointing PL campaign under manager Roberto Martinez (11th last season, currently 12th).
As Moshiri sees it, one man doesn’t make a club, and he’s not interested in being the star of the show — quotes from the Guardian:“I felt it today. It is a great club. We just enjoy the day [the Wembley semifinal] and let’s hope we can energize the club. You can never take over a club. You become part of it and that’s what I’m hoping — to become part of a club.
“For me I bought into a new family and that’s what is special for me. I give them whatever I have.”
Moshiri’s first order of important business this summer? Keeping hold of star striker Romelu Lukaku, whose 18 goals in the PL rank him third in the league this season (behind only Jamie Vardy and Harry Kane). At the tender age of 22, Lukaku already has 119 first-team goals to his name, including 61 in three seasons at Everton, and despite his current club’s new financial weight, the likes of Manchester United, Manchester City, Real Madrid, Juventus and — dare we say it — Chelsea are expected to come calling in the summer with an offer that might be too good to refuse.
