Nottingham Forest beat Burnley at Turf Moor on the final day to seal their status as a Premier League club.
WATCH FULL REPLAY
Chris Wood scored twice early on to put Forest in a commanding position and although Josh Cullen’s deflected shot made it interesting late on, Forest were deserved winners.
The victory sees Forest end the season on 32 points and in 17th place, one place above the relegation zone. Burnley finish the season on 24 points and have suffered their worst-ever home season in terms of wins and their lowest points tally in a 38-game top-flight season.
Elanga, Gibbs-White and Hudson-Odoi the future
The trio of forwards underneath Chris Wood caused chaos with their direct runs, crosses into the box and shots from distance. Whether it is Wood, Awoniyi or someone else up top to finish the chances off, Forest have to get the ball to Elanga, Gibbs-White and Hudson-Odoi as much as possible next season and beyond. That trio are their future and if Forest sort things out at the back, they have the attacking quality to make sure they score and create the goals which will see them finish well above the drop zone next season.

Burnley focus, team news
The Clarets have really missed exciting young winger Luca Koleosho over the last few months and they just haven’t had enough spark in attack all season long. Muric has made some big saves in goal after coming in for Trafford in recent weeks but both goalkeepers have made huge mistakes which cost Burnley dear.
OUT: Nathan Redmond (hamstring), Aaron Ramsey (knee), Jordan Beyer (thigh), Ameen Al-Dakhil (undisclosed) | QUESTIONABLE: Luca Koleosho (knee)
Nottingham Forest focus, team news
Nuno Espirito Santo finally has all of his attacking players fit and he has a lot of options to choose from. Hudson-Odoi, Elanga and Wood have been excellent in recent weeks, while Morgan Gibbs-White is a big reason why Forest are staying up as he’s taken his game to the next level. Awoniyi could start this game as he is back from injury.
OUT: Neco Williams (thigh)
