Pascal Gross had a goal and set up 18-year-old Jack Hinshelwood for another as Brighton and Hove Albion came back to beat Brentford 2-1 at the Amex Stadium on Wednesday.
Bryan Mbeumo had converted an early penalty to put Brentford in front with his seventh goal of the Premier League season, but the Bees could neither hang onto their lead nor find another goal.

Brighton will hope to have curbed a slide that saw them win just one of eight Premier League contests. The Seagulls now sit seventh with 25 points, two off fifth-place Tottenham and five away from the top four.
Brentford, meanwhile, loses for the third time in four matches after defeating Luton Town last time out. The Bees sit 11th with 19 points on the season.
Gulls’ Gross a club hero
He’s played almost every position since arriving from Germany, and Pascal Gross is one of the emblems of Brighton and Hove Albion’s current golden era.
Gross scored with a fine finish and assisted Hinshelwood with class to produce both goals in this win, playing left back at the age of 32 as if he isn’t a central midfielder.
He’s closing in on 75 goal contributions in a Brighton shirt and has now played 232 times after his move from Ingolstadt.
There have been seasons he’s driven the attack and other times he’s played the role of steady Eddie, and the latter’s pretty important given how many star Seagulls have skipped town during his tenure.
Between Lewis Dunk and Pascal Gross, Brighton’s been fortunate to have some loyal servants while the club’s profile rose to new heights.
