Barcelona and Real Madrid are two of the biggest clubs in football.
The Spanish giants have combined to win 11 of the past 12 La Liga titles, while being named two of the top three most valuable sports franchises in the world.
However, the rivalry goes far beyond football, and both clubs will now be competing in the purple kit market.

Barcelona (with Nike) and Real Madrid (with Adidas) released their new kits for the 2016-17 season on Thursday, with both clubs choosing to go with a purple colorway for their away strips.
Barca will wear a purple kit with pink accents and pink socks, while Real will go purple from head-to-toe.
