Folks, despite popular reports, the reports of Adnan Januzaj’s death have been greatly exaggerated.
Despite failing to see his name on the starting lineup for Manchester United yet this season under Louis van Gaal, the young Belgian is still alive and well.
Januzaj, playing for the Red Devils’ U-21 side today, somehow managed a goal on a free-kick from an impossible angle today in Manchester United’s 2-1 win over Tottenham Hotspur.
Not only was it essentially from the corner flag, but it was an outswinger, meaning attempting to wrap your head around the physics involved in putting the ball into the top corner will only cause your brain to explode, so please don’t try this at home.
And yes, it was the winner, and came in the 89th minute for added drama.

Still just 19 years old, Januzaj is a player Manchester United could use as they look to put a disappointing start to the season behind them. He’s found himself stuck behind Ashley Young and new arrival Angel Di Maria on the wings thus far, but has seen five matches off the bench.
