According to KTXL’s Sean Cunningham, the Kings have signed Skal Labissiere to an Exhibit 10 contract.
A first-round pick in 2016, Labissiere last played in the NBA in 2020, spending time in the G League. He spent last season with Sacramento’s G League affiliate in Stockton, which may also be his fate this time. The Exhibit 10 deal can guarantee him more money ($77,500) should the Kings waive him during training camp, and he goes on to spend at least 60 days with their G League affiliate.

According to James Ham, the Kings will likely sign Skal Labissiere and then waive him.
Labissiere has spent the last two seasons in the G League, and that’s the reason for the two reported transactions that the Kings will execute. Signing and then waiving the power forward will secure Labissiere’s G League rights, so expect to see him spend most (if not all) of next season with the Stockton Kings.
  • SAC Power Forward #7
According to Shams Charania of The Athletic, the Kings have signed Skal Labissiere to a partially guaranteed, one-year deal.
The 28th overall pick in the 2016 NBA Draft, Labissiere is returning to the city where he began his NBA career (Sacramento acquired his draft rights from the Suns). The former Kentucky big man was unable to establish himself in the NBA, and he has spent his last two professional seasons in the G League. Labissiere is unlikely to be a fantasy asset next season, regardless of league size.
  • Power Forward #8
Skal Labissiere is expected to sign with the Westchester, the Knicks’ G-League team.
Labissiere went to Hawks camp despite being a free agent but it sounds like he’s going to be a minor league Knick, for what it’s worth.

  • Power Forward #8
Lloyd Pierce said that Skal Labissiere “looked really good” at Wednesday’s practice and that he’s “been healthy a long time.”
Labissiere went down with a knee injury in December and never made it back to the court, but he’s now had plenty of time to recover and was a full participant in Wednesday’s practice. He’ll be good to go for the 2020-21 season, but it’ll be tough for him to find meaningful minutes while John Collins and Clint Capela are healthy.

  • Power Forward #8
Skal Labissiere (left knee) will be re-evaluated in two weeks.
He’s progressed to “impact activities,” but there’s no telling when he’ll be back, and it’s possible he won’t be making his debut for Atlanta this season. Once his two-week re-evaluation is complete, the Hawks will only have 12 games remaining on their schedule.
  • Power Forward #8
Skal Labissiere (left knee) is out for at least two more weeks.
He has started modified shooting routines along with non-impact conditioning and strength work. Labissiere could still be out for the season, and he wouldn’t be a lock for minutes with Damian Jones and Bruno Fernando as his competition.
  • Power Forward #8
Skal Labissiere (left knee) is still “weeks” away from playing.
He’s without an official timetable and belongs on the waiver wire in all formats.
  • Power Forward #8
Skal Labissiere (left knee) will remain on the sidelines for Wednesday’s game against the Cavs, as expected.
It’s unclear when he’ll be back, but we don’t expect him to have a large enough role in Atlanta to make an impact in fantasy hoops.
  • Power Forward #8
Skal Labissiere (left knee) and Clint Capela (heel) will not play on Monday in Orlando, as expected.
Labissiere is currently without a timetable and Capela is not expected to play until after the break. John Collins and Dewayne Dedmon will continue to see the majority of Atlanta’s frontcourt minutes. Labissiere belongs on the waiver wire in all formats.
