Jets signed TE Ryan Griffin.
Ousted from the roster at last cuts, the Jets announced a plethora of releases and IR placements today and brought back Griffin. After the trade of Christopher Herndon, the Jets tight end room is: Tyler Kroft, Trevon Wesco, the also newly-signed Daniel Brown, and Griffin. Kroft is the likely starter but his limited pass-catching abilities could leave the door open for Griffin to get some work on receiving downs. Regardless of their split, neither New York tight end projects to have any relevance in fantasy unless Zach Wilson comes out of the gates slinging it. The Jets also signed safety Sharrod Neasman.
