Falcons agreed to terms fifth-round LB Robert James to a four-year contract, according to Scout.com’s Adam Caplan. Caplan reports the deal includes a signing bonus near $199,000.

James played inside linebacker at Arizona State, but will be looked at as a backup WILL in Atlanta. He’s small at 5'11/220 and probably won’t be more than a special teamer under Mike Smith, barring a move to strong safety.
