Jared Butler, Ricky Council IV, Justin Edwards, Chuma Okeke and Guerschon Yabusele will start against the Pelicans on Monday.
Butler will return to the starting lineup in place of Quentin Grimes, who is getting a rest night to help Philadelphia’s lottery odds. Council IV will also enter the starting lineup, replacing Jeff Dowtin Jr. despite his 17/4/3/3/2 line in 26 minutes on Sunday.
  • PHI Shooting Guard #16
Lonnie Walker IV (head) is out for Monday’s game against the Pelicans.
Walker missed four games with a concussion before returning last Friday against the Spurs, but he subsequently left that game after playing 11 minutes with a head injury. Walker sat out Sunday’s game against the Hawks with a concussion and will do the same Monday. There will be more minutes for Ricky Council IV and Jalen Hood-Schifino in his absence.
  • PHI Center #30
Adem Bona (ankle) and Lonnie Walker IV (concussion) are out against the Hawks on Sunday.
Bona will miss a fifth straight game with a sprained left ankle. With Andre Drummond and Joel Embiid also out, the 76ers will lean on Guerschon Yabusele in the middle. As for Walker, he played 11 minutes in Friday’s loss to the Spurs after missing four games in the league’s concussion protocol. His absence means more playing time for Ricky Council IV and Jalen Hood-Schifino, with the former offering a higher streaming ceiling.
  • PHI Shooting Guard #14
Ricky Council IV provided a boost off the bench with 20 points (6-of-9 FGs), eight rebounds, one assist, one steal and three three-pointers against the Spurs on Friday.
Council IV has taken on a more consistent role in recent weeks after being in and out of the rotation for most of the season. After making just one of his 11 shot attempts on Wednesday, Council IV responded by setting a new season-high for scoring. He has scored in double figures in six of his last seven games and has started three times during that stretch. He is a difficult player to trust in standard leagues, but he has had some productive performances recently.
  • PHI Shooting Guard #16
Lonnie Walker (concussion) is available to play against the Spurs on Friday.
Following a four-game absence, Walker will be back in the lineup. He should immediately play plenty of minutes for the shorthanded 76ers, and that should take away time from Ricky Council IV and Jalen Hood-Schifino.
  • PHI Shooting Guard #16
Lonnie Walker (concussion) is probable to play against the Spurs on Friday.
Walker is expected to be back after missing Philadelphia’s last four games. Ricky Council IV and Jalen Hood-Schifino should both lose out on some minutes to make room for Walker in the rotation.
  • PHI Small Forward #9
Kelly Oubre Jr. (knee) is out for Wednesday’s game against the Thunder.
Oubre is set to miss his fourth-straight game with a knee injury. Ricky Council IV should continue to start in his absence while Jalen Hood-Schifino sees additional minutes off the bench.
  • PHI Small Forward #9
Kelly Oubre Jr. (knee) is doubtful for Wednesday’s game against the Thunder.
Oubre has missed Philadelphia’s last three games with a knee injury and appears likely to miss Wednesday’s game as well. Ricky Council IV has replaced him in the starting lineup, and deep-league managers should not overlook Jalen Hood-Schifino coming off the bench.
  • PHI Point Guard #0
Tyrese Maxey (back, finger) and Kelly Oubre Jr. (knee) are out for Monday’s matchup with the Rockets.
No surprises here for the tanking Sixers. Philly will be missing all of the starters they opened the season with, including role players like Lonnie Walker IV. Jared Butler, Ricky Council IV and Quentin Grimes will continue to pick up the slack with Maxey and Oubre Jr. sidelined.
  • PHI Small Forward #9
Kelly Oubre Jr. (knee) is out for Sunday’s game against the Mavericks.
Oubre will miss a second straight game with a knee injury, meaning more playing time for Justin Edwards and Ricky Council IV. With the 76ers light on available bodies, both will be worthy of deep-leagues streaming consideration for Sunday night.
