The Colts have shuffled their their defensive line in hopes of increasing team speed.
Incumbent starting end Raheem Brock will move inside full-time to atone for Larry Tripplett’s loss and rotate with Montae Reagor and Corey Simon. Dwight Freeney and Robert Mathis will start at defensive end. Mathis’ IDP value should increase, while Brock may not have any.

Seahawks DE Raheem Brock has been charged with drunk driving in his November 2010 arrest on suspicion of drunken driving.
It’s unclear why it took police 13 months to file charges, but Brock could be facing a suspension from the league if found guilty. A situational pass rusher, Brock has 21 tackles and one sack in 12 games this season.
  • FA Defensive Lineman
Undrafted rookie DT Ed Johnson will start in week one for the Colts.
Johnson, one of a whopping 12 rookies to make the Super Bowl champs final roster including all nine draft picks, will play along side DT Raheem Brock. The Indianapolis Star says disciplinary issues in college caused Johnson, who had five sacks his senior season at Penn State, to be skipped in the draft.
  • FA Defensive Back #41
The Colts expect to be without defensive starters Antoine Bethea (knee), Robert Mathis (knee), and Raheem Brock (ribs) in Week 15.
All these losses are significant, but the Colts could probably beat the Raiders with their second-team defense. Brock will be replaced by Quinn Pitcock at defensive tackle, while rookie Keyunta Dawson could start at end for Mathis. Matt Giordano figures to get the nod at free safety in place of Bethea.
  • IND Defensive Lineman #91
Colts DE Josh Thomas will likely start in place of the injured Dwight Freeney over newly signed Simeon Rice in Week 11.
Thomas will likely see more time on first and second downs with the veteran Rice coming in during passing situations to pressure Chiefs QB Brodie Croyle, who is making his first NFL start. DL Raheem Brock (neck) practiced on Wednesday, along with starting LT Tony Ugoh (neck) and LB Freddie Keiaho (ear).
  • FA Defensive Lineman
Colts DT Raheem Brock is expected to return for Sunday’s game against the Chargers.
Brock missed the final four of the regular season with a rib injury and should give the Colts rush defense a much needed boost against LaDainian Tomlinson.
  • FA Defensive Lineman
Colts DT Raheem Brock left Sunday’s game with a rib injury.
He did not return. Coach Tony Dungy said afterwards that he did not know the extent of the injury. Brock has three sacks and 31 tackles this season.

Colts DT Raheem Brock (rib) is “very, very doubtful” to face the Ravens according to coach Tony Dungy.
The Colts gave up 168 yards on the ground last week against a power running game and look likely to be without their top interior lineman against RB Willis McGahee, who ran a season-high 30 times for 138 yards against the Patriots. T Ryan Diem (knee) is also unlikely to play, but SLB Tyjuan Hagler will return to the starting lineup.
