Raiders DL Tommy Kelly has been moved to right defensive end.
It looks like he’ll start there to begin the season, ahead of Kevin Huntley and rookies Quentin Moses and Jay Richardson. Kelly, who defensive line coach Keith Millard compares to Trevor Pryce, will kick inside on passing downs.
  • PIT Defensive Lineman
Kevin Huntley is penciled in as the Raiders’ starting right defensive end.
Oakland would rather see Jay Richardson or Quentin Moses claim the gig, but the 6-7 Huntley has terrific size and could be a force against the run. Incumbent starter Tyler Brayton will probably be a swing tackle-end this year.
  • FA Linebacker
Quentin Moses has been seeing most of the reps as the Raiders’ starting right defensive end during training camp.
He appears to have passed Kevin Huntley. Moses may come off the field on obvious running downs but could rack up a few sacks if he keeps the gig.
  • FA Linebacker
Raiders signed third-round DE Quentin Moses to a multi-year contract.
Moses had a terrific junior year but decided to return to school as a senior and floundered. His pre-draft workouts were also unremarkable. The Raiders, nonetheless, believe Moses could challenge to start immediately.
  • FA Linebacker
    Raiders released DE Quentin Moses.
Moss was the first pick of the third round and was seeing reps as the Raiders’ starting DE early in camp, but lost the job to converted guard Tommy Kelly. He lost the backup job to fifth-rounder Jay Richardson.
  • FA Linebacker
Third-round draft pick Quentin Moses will get a chance to be the Raiders’ starting right defensive end as a rookie.
Tyler Brayton has kicked inside. The winner of the Moses-Kevin Huntley battle isn’t likely to see many double teams opposite Derrick Burgess.
  • FA Linebacker
Raiders selected Georgia DE Quentin Moses with the No. 65 overall pick in the NFL Draft.
Moses had a weak senior year and followed it with an awful postseason but showed as a junior that he can get to the passer. The pick gives the Raiders some leverage in long-term contract talks with Derrick Burgess.
  • FA Linebacker
Quentin Moses and Charlie Anderson were the Dolphins starting outside linebackers at OTAs last week.
It’s a surprise that Moses is running ahead of Cameron Wake. With Joey Porter and Jason Taylor gone, this season was supposed to be Wake’s coming out party. We suspect Wake will overtake Moses by the time Week 1 rolls around.
  • FA Linebacker
Former NFL OLB/DE Quentin Moses has passed away.
Moses and two others were killed in a house fire in Monroe, Georgia on Sunday morning. The 33-year-old last played in the NFL with the Dolphins in 2010. The Georgia alum had been coaching defensive ends at Reinhardt University.
  • FA Linebacker
Dolphins signed rookie DE Quentin Moses.
Moses was waived by the Raiders despite being their third-round pick this season and then he was subsequently signed and released by the Cardinals. Despite the early setbacks, this is a good risk by the winless Dolphins as they look for help along the line and Moses could help as a pass rusher.
