STAMFORD, Conn. – March 14, 2024 – NBC Sports presents coverage of the final round of the 2024 Guinness Six Nations Rugby Championship this Saturday, March 16 on NBC, Peacock, and CNBC as first-place Ireland aim to win their second consecutive outright title with three other nations still in championship contention.

At 12:45 p.m. ET on Saturday, first-place Ireland host Scotland live on Peacock as they look to secure their 16th outright title and sixth of the Six Nations era (began in 2000). Ireland will clinch the title with a win, draw or loss with two bonus points. In the Six Nations tournament, bonus points can be earned if a team scores at least four tries in a game or if a team loses by seven points or fewer.

Then at 3:30 p.m. ET live on Peacock, England faces France. England is four points behind Ireland and can claim the title with a bonus point win and an Ireland loss without a bonus point. If victorious, England would claim its 30th outright title and the nation’s first since 2020.

Scotland and France are still mathematically in contention for the title, but both face a much more difficult path to win this year’s championship. The Scottish and French teams would each need to win their respective matches with bonus points, avoid conceding a losing bonus point and overturn a points difference of 76 to Ireland to have a chance at winning the title.

Saturday’s coverage of the Six Nations final round begins live at 10:15 a.m. ET on Peacock as Italy, which beat Scotland, 31-29, in Round 4, visit Wales, who lost to France, 45-24, last round. With a win, Italy would finish higher than last place for the first time since 2015.

Rugby offerings are available to U.S. commercial establishments through Peacock Sports Pass. Peacock Sports Pass offers commercial establishments in the U.S. access to select events from Peacock’s exclusive live sports content library, including rugby, the Premier League, Big Ten football and basketball, and much more.
